       Dear Friends,
What a crazy few months it has been! An absolute whirlwind! This weekend I slept in my bed for the first time in 5 weeks! ...and ate a home-cooked meal...and sat on my porch...and mopped the kitchen...and you get the point! It’s so good to be home and to stay put for a while.
Welcome to every new subscriber! I have to say, of all the places I found myself on this particular trip, Salt of the Earth in Fennville, MI was the most enjoyable show. Salt Lake City, UT was the most intruiging city to explore, and the Gateway Arch is still my most favorite thing in the sky!
While I was gone, some pretty exciting things happened...
 NPR TINY DESK SHOW // TONIGHT!!!
Some really cool things happened with that song I submitted to NPR’s Tiny Desk contest a few months back. A clip was added to their recap of this year’s submissions, the video was added to their YouTube playlist, and this month I was aked to perform at the Tiny Desk Concert in Philly!
The show takes place TONIGHT with 2 other local bands and this year’s winner, Gaelynn Lea. The event is being hosted by NPR Music and WXPN and Im pretty pumped to meet Gaelynn, Bob Boilen of All Songs Considered, and to have my sister by my side :)

NOT IN PHILLY: If you are not in Philly - they will announce sometime today about whether they will be Live-streaming the show via the NPR Music Facebook Page. Check there regularly.
 UPCOMING SHOWS
