We have some terrific workshops coming up this month!

We have six new colors of Avalon just in time for Spring. Avalon is a 50% cotton 50% acrylic blend, worsted weight with 192 yards per 100g skein. It's great for just about anything, but we particularly love it for baby and kids items due to it's durability and washability. We now have 22 solid colors and 6 varigates.

We have four new colors of Amitola! Amitola is a blend of 80% wool and 20% silk, it's single-ply and fingering weight with 273 yards per 50g ball. Amitola has long color blocks that gradually shift from one color to the next which makes it fascinating to knit and results in some stunning projects. It's stunning in shawls, scarves and cowls, but can also make a delightful sweater. Check out these patterns that highlight Amitola's color changing character: Linientreu (shawl), Astrid (scarf), and Taliesin (sweater). |
The yarn of the month for April is Old Dominion Cotton by Cestari. It's a 100% cotton dk weight with 250 yards per 100g skein. The cotton is grown, spun, and dyed in Virginia and is softer and fluffier than many cotton yarns. Cestari Old Dominion Cotton is great for garments, shawls, blankets, washclothes and baby items. Some patterns that are perfect for Old Dominion Cotton are: Simply Washclothes, Summer Garden Granny Square, Beach Tank, Stella Baby Blanket, The Perfect Baby Bib, Teething Dolly,
