The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 2.26% at 1,043,254. Metallic Ore (+4.69%)saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Sugar (-1.24%). Chemicals (-0.67%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 16,050 billion (approx. USD 382 million). Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +5.00%) Persian Gulf Oil Refining Co. (PKLJ -3.93%) and National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI +5.00%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Kharazmi Investment Co. (IKHR -3.00%) was the most traded stock with IRR 3,823 billion (approx. USD 91 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 113,179 billion (approx. USD 2,695 million), up 11% from the previous trading session.

 

The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 45,018 for a gain of 3.44%. The biggest riser was Pars Petrochemical Co. (PARS +5.00%) while Persian Gulf Oil Refining Co. (PKLJ -3.93%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 20,464 billion (approx. USD 478 million), down 9% from the previous trading session.
