Hi People!

I just returned to the States from a marvelous 3 month tour in the UK. It included playing live on BBC Radio 2 with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Guy Barker Big Band live from the Cheltenham Jazz Festival as well as dates with the Quentin Collins/Brandon Allen Quartet, the Syd Lawrence Orchestra and the SWR Big Band from Germany, the John Altman Quartet and other super talents such as Gregory Porter, Madeline Bell, James Pearson, Mitch Dalton, Tim Thornton, Ralph Salmins, Laurie Holloway, Digby Fairweather, Barry Green, Alec Dankworth, Ross Stanley and Enzo Zirilli to name but a few...

The trip also included my UK theatrical debut in two plays at the Gatehouse Theatre in London.

I don't think I ever took a breath the whole 13 weeks I was there.... overall the tour was very successful on all fronts :)

In mid-October, I'll be returning to the UK for several months for more concerts with the BBC/Radio 2 as well as my own special Christmas series with the Ronnie Scott's Orchestra.

In the meantime, I'm so glad to be home because it gives me a chance to perform for/hang with my down-home fans and friends. I wouldn't even be doing this if it wasn't for you.

Next Saturday, August 25th, I'm back at Spaghettini's with the Young Lions, including the original music and stylings of 23 year-old saxophone breakout Danny Janklow.

Come out and join us for a very special concert as yours truly and the Young Lions return to Spags - and the West Coast...
