TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 0.61% at 254,446. Paper Products (+4.85%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Other Financial Services (-0.64%). Chemicals (+0.63%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 1,244 billion (approx. USD 29 million). Persian Gulf Petrochemical Ind. Co. (PKLJ+1.41%) Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA +2.85%) and Tehran Oil Refining Co. (PTEH +2.35) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Nouri Petrochemical Co. (NORI +4.21%) was the most traded stock with IRR 433 billion (approx. USD 10 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 9,114 billion (approx. USD 217 million), up 12% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 11,529 for a gain of 0.45%. The biggest riser was Tabriz Oil Refining Co. (PTAB +4.89%) while Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ -0.92%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 1,938 billion (approx. USD 46 million), up 47% from the previous trading session. |
