Bristol Salon 2013
Last weekend saw the judging of this year's Bristol International Salon Of Photography. The weekend's statistics make some interesting reading:
  • 1647 Photographers
  • 13,132 Images
  • 70 Different Countries
  • 4 Days Judging
There were also successes for BPS members with 24 members gaining a total of 56 acceptances across the three sections (Open, Photo Travel & Nature). Additionally, the following members gained Honourable Mentions:
Open Section
  • Paul Smith
  • Gordon Stirrat
  • Greg Duncan
  • Val Duncan

Photo Travel
  • John Chamberlin

Nature
  • Greg Duncan
  • Val Duncan
  • Steve Taylor
When you consider that these acceptances and honours were gained in competition with some of the best photographers in the world and that we only accepted about 20% of entries, then you realise how much photograhic strength there is in BPS. Well done to all.

Attached are the full results for PS members
