A THANKSGIVING PRAYER
Our tables soon with food are dressed
With friends and family as guest.
God, bless these gifts in mercy so
They strength of body may bestow.
May all who hunger pray to Thee
And in Thy love come to believe.
Give peace and harvest to our land!
Bless all the earth, good weather send,
Freedom to preach the Gospel pure,
Our homes and meals by work secure.
God, feed our souls with living bread,
Forgiveness bought by Jesus' death. Amen.
