ABOUT: 25 designers from Studio 5 Fashion School in Johannesburg have been given a Palestine challenge - take an existing Free Palestine tshirt, use a Palestinian keffiyeh and with other accessories make it bedazzle! The designers have been working on this for over a month and are now ready to show off their garments. On Saturday models will be strutting down the runway in front of three celebrity judges who will make the ultimate decision on which of the 25 designed outfits wins the prize! ABOUT: Now in its second year, this salsa dance party and international solidarity event, which will include a free salsa dance lesson, is being held in celebration of the Cuban revolution and the Palestinian liberation struggle.
