As you know the Lincoln Brigade was made up of the men and women who defied the American government of the 1930's and volunteered to put their lives on the line in the fight against Fascism during the Spanish Civil War. Though most of those amazingly brave vets have since passed, the support organization, ALBA, continues to fight for justice for all, and against the militarized corporatism that is always at odds with democracy and freedom.
