An exciting new project to develop Arabic Text to Speech is seeking two Arabic Speakers in Doha with a good grasp of grammar and Arabic phonetics and phonology. Experience in speech technologies is preferred.

 

Responsibilities will include the annotation and segmentation of recorded material to create the corpus for a speech segmentation system. This system will be used to create an open source and commercial Arabic Voice for text to speech.

 

Applicants must be fluent in the Arabic language, with enough English skills to adequately communicate with a project team working in conjunction from the UK.
