Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

READY ALWAYS!

In the kingdom of God we need to be ready all the time. But how can we be ready all the time? Answer: If we are with Jesus, we are prepared all the time. For on the night before He went to the cross, He said, "I go to prepare a place for you." It was the doing and dying and rising of Jesus that prepared for the coming of the bridegroom, the joyful beginning of the kingdom of glory. As we continue in Him, we will be prepared.

"But my faith is so wavering. How can I be with Him always?"

You have known the answer for years! Jesus says: "Behold, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of you." "The kingdom of God is among you." "The virgin will be with child, and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel -- which means God with us" (Matthew 1:23).

With preparation like that, there is not a place on this planet, or a station in life where we cannot serve Him and welcome Him when He comes again.

Rejoice, rejoice, believers, and let your lights appear!
The evening is advancing, and darker night is near.
The Bridegroom is arising, and soon is drawing nigh;
Up, pray and watch and wrestle: At midnight comes the cry.

The watchers on the mountain proclaim the Bridegroom near;
Go meet Him as He cometh with hallelujahs clear.
The marriage-feast is waiting, the gates wide open stand;
Up, up, ye heirs of glory; the Bridegroom is at hand!
