TSE All-Share Index
The TSE All-Share Index edged up 0.10% to close at 96,332 today. The majority of sectors advanced, with Paper Products (+3%) leading gainers. The weakest sector of the day was Other Financial Services (-1.73%). Base Metals (+0.13%) was again the most actively traded sector with IRR 271 billion (approx. USD 6.2 million) of shares exchanged. Mellat Bank (BMLT +2.07%), National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI +0.56%) and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (+0.28%) were the biggest movers of the All-Share Index. The most traded stock was Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD -0.17%) with volume of IRR 84 billion (approx. USD 1.9 million). The total traded value of the market stood at IRR 2,267 billon (approx. USD 52 million), up 37.8% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed almost unchanged at 4,197, up 0.04% from yesterday. The biggest gainer of the index was Mellat Bank (BMLT +2.07%), while SAIPA Group (SIPA -1.34%) was the weakest. The top 30s traded value totaled IRR 471 billion (approx. USD 10.8 million), a gain of 10% from yesterday. |
