WCPF - Kingswood Salver
The 2014 Kingswood Salver Competition was held on November 15th near Exeter. The competition is for clubs in the WCPF and each club has to submit a panel of 5 prints, these prints should have been taken within the last two years and be by five different photographers and the images should be on a related topic. This year's winners were Hanham Photographic Society while Bristol gained an HC. All the winning images/panels can be seen on the WCPF website. Our panel is shown below, firstly showing how the panel was hung, and secondly the individual images. All the BPS images were taken on the trip that a dozen or so members took to Iceland earlier this year.

Exhibitions to Visit
Arena Photographers at Sidcot School. I mentioned this exhibition before, but as it's on until 13 December I felt it worth repeating. Some members have already visited it and report back that it is more than worth a visit. For full details of times etc., please check the Sidcot website. Please note, the exhibition will be closed on 21 November for an internal event.

BPS Member Features on National Geographic Website
Last week I mentioned Steve Taylor's image that was reproduced on the National Geographic website: what I failed to include was a live link to the article - so here it is.

Your Email Address
Please let the Membership Secretary (membership@bristolphoto.org.uk) of any change in your details, especially your email address. At least one member that I know of has not been receiving this wonderful organ of BPS news because we still had his old email address.

19/12 - I have received the following list of paper that Rebecca Fong is trying to get rid of:

4 x boxes of A3+ sized Epson Matte Heavyweight paper, 50 sheets a box - £10 a box
4 x boxes of A3+ sized Epson Glossy paper, 20 sheets a box - £8 a box
5 x A4 Epson semi-gloss, 20 sheets a box – £5 a box

The boxes themselves are not new but they are unopened. Please note that A3+ is bigger than A3  (329mm x 483mm) and allows for a border around your print but may not fit into all printers.

If anyone would like any of this paper, please could they please email Rebecca directly at reccabong@hotmail.com and she will bring it to the club as and when required.
If you have something photographic that you want to sell, let me have the details and I will circulate them to a captive audience of photographers through the Newsletter - send to the usual address.
