Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

ALL HIS WAYS ARE JUST

"All His ways are just ... upright and just is he." God is just -- always. There are two places we see this most clearly. One is Mount Sinai where Moses received the Law from God. The laws of men can be unfair, the the Law of God is utterly just. To each impartially God says, "You shall honor me and my word. You shall not murder, steal, lie, or cheat." In His Law, God justly promises to reward good and to punish evil.

God's justice is also clearly revealed on another mount -- the one where Jesus was crucified. Here, evil was punished. All evil. All our sins against God's Law. Jesus willingly took the punishment we guilty sinners deserved. Because of this God, ever just, no longer looks to punish us for our sins, but declares us "not guilty" for Jesus' sake. Rest your case, rest your heart on this: God's justice in Christ.
