"The shape of the universe is a Moebius vortex. I believe that. Time is a spherical constant. Now imagine a Moebius vortex inside a spherical constant, and you've got my cosmology."

Range Report - June 2008

Howdy Buckaroos! Here is your latest Manatee Newsletter:

Manatee bassist/vocalist Randy Wagner just saw his daughter Carlee graduate from Cheltenham High School and his daughter Jaime graduate from Albright College with a triple-major Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Economics, and Finance. Congratulations girls!

Manatee keyboardist Karl Frick just saw his son Brian graduate from Penn State majoring in Information Systems Technology with a G.P.A. of 3.28. Congratulations Brian!

Manatee drummer Jim Cavanaugh just saw his son Cliff marry his sweetheart Adrienne. They are honeymooning in Jamaica. Congratulations to the bride & groom!

Manatee vocalist Kathleen Weber just saw the release of her new CD with The Angel Band. It's called, "With Roots & Wings". It is produced by Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines' father Lloyd Maines and features David Bromberg. The Angel Band is playing this Sunday, June 1st, at The Sellersville Theater in Sellersville, PA. www.angelband.net

The following Friday, June 6, The Mighty Manatees return to the Bridgeport Rib-House in Bridgeport, PA. It's the first time we've been back since that Christmas party last year...

Excitement is building as our CD release date (July 11) draws nearer. Randy is working on the mastering, my son Liam is working on the cover art, Uncle Ronkle is working on getting our on-line store up and running, and I'm working on the liner notes.

We were all bummed-out over the Fitzwater Station rain-out. So now the first outdoor show of the year will be the Tex-Mex PARKING LOT in North Wales, PA on June 20. It is a Friday reggae happy hour from 5-8 with Ras Michael on the drums. Yeah mon.

I hope that you have all seen my new comic strip that began running in the Montgomery County Woman newspaper. It comes out every two months. Thanks to my editor Gary Soden.

My new solo CD, "Ranger", is being produced by Karl Frick, Randy Wagner & myself and will be released in mid-September.

And finally I would like to send a big HAPPY 29th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY wish to my sister Sue and her husband Steve up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. All the best!

No Manatee Fun Facts this month.

Stay strong,
Ranger Will
