It's that time of year again, the Pittsburgh Marathon is here.

The marathon will be held on Sunday, May 15th, 2011 from 6:30am- 12:45pm. The race runs along Penn Avenue to Braddock Avenue to Frankstown Avenue. Every year, runners from the marathon come through Homewood as community residents and spectators cheer them on. Please join Operation Better Block with your families and friends to help us cheer, celebrate, and hand out water to marathon runners! All volunteers will receive a free official marathon t-shirt and jacket.
