Hockey season is in full swing and we have a couple great announcements about this week's game and all upcoming Sabres games at the Harp:
Sabres/Bruins Pregame Party
This Thursday 1/31 our Sabres travel up to Boston to take on the Bruins at the Garden, and the Bills Backers of Boston is hosting a pregame gathering at the Harp for everybody headed to the game!
here's the details:
5-7pm at the downstairs bar (so we can take over as much space as possible from the Bruins fans).
We'll have Labatt Blue Light bottles stocked behind the bar.
If you're looking to get a table, just tell the hostess you're with the Backers and you'd like to be seated in the downstairs area
(Don't forget your backers membership card for 10% off all food!)
Don't have a ticket but want to join? Come on out! The Harp will have the game on in HD with audio on all the TVs throughout the bar.
NHL Center Ice @ The Harp!
This season the Harp has purchased the NHL center ice package, so now you can watch EVERY Sabres game at the Harp!
We'll still be doing some coordinated gamewatching parties for larger events (at least one a month), but feel free to organize your own groups to catch a game on our facebook wall. Just let a bartender or server know you'd like the Buffalo game put on, and you're all set. Also don't forget your 10% off food discount applies all hockey season (or whenever you're at the Harp). Just show your card and save $$.
We'd like to thank the Harp for purchasing the package for us to be able to watch the games! We hope to see more and more of you down there in your Sabres gear for the games.
Thanks again for your continued support of the group. As always feel free to drop us a line if you have any questions or comments. We want the group events to be something you all enjoy and are always open to feedback and suggestions.
LETS GO BUFFALO!

For those of you still reading, here's some tidbits about our new enforcers:
We're sure you all remember the game last year when Lucic took his cheap shot on Miller. Of course the Sabres have added a couple people who are looking to meet Mr. Lucic, one of which is #9 Steve Ott, who has a history of run-ins with the Bruins. Ott had this to say about Bruins announcer Jack Edwards: “My mom was saying ‘I can’t stand that Boston announcer, what a homer he is. How could he say all these bad things about you.’ I think Jack Edwards, the voice of the Bruins, was a guy even the nerds picked on back in high school.” (Entire Article)
All signs point to it being a rowdy night at the Gaaahden.
