It's February and we've made it through the darkest part of the Winter and most of the ice here has melted. Even though we know we're bound to have some more cold days before Spring hits we can sense the longer days creeping towards us. It's the perfect time to settle in and finish up some of those projects that have been gathering dust.

This February, we are focusing on finishing those old projects. Do you have a single sock that needs a mate, ends to weave in, a sweater that needs another sleeve, or a hat that never got blocked? We want to encourage you to pull out those old projects and give them the life they deserve. To motivate you, we will be giving a $50 ReBelle Gift Certificate to one lucky finisher.

New In The Shop

We are excited to introduce the Lykke Pendel, a beautifully hand-crafted yarn concierge made from sustainably-sourced wood. The Pendel holds your yarn on a free moving platform suspended by a powerful magnet that allows it to rotate as you knit or crochet, eliminating twists and tangles. We currently have the Pendel available in Mangowood and Indian Rosewood. Want to see the Pendel in action, click here.

Romance is in the air! The February 2025 Crazy Beautiful Color of the month from Emma's Yarns is a lovely shade of rosey pink - with a bit of sweetness sprinkled throughout! February 2025 is totally happy single… but we can’t help but play match-maker! She looks so so so stunning and bright paired with a few of our favorite semi-solids like Be Hoppy, Down the Rabbit Hole, and cactus Flower.

Events at ReBelle

For ReBelle's February CAL/KAL we will be focusing on those projects hanging out in the bottom of your project basket, the dreaded UFOs, HFOs, and WIPs. Whether weaving the ends in on that shawl you finished last winter, reworking the sleeve that came out too long, or simply picking up and working on that hat you abandoned last month. We want you to pull out those unfinished projects and finish them. Feel like starting something new? Why not make a mate for that single sock or single mitten that you forgot about? It doesn't even have to match!! Whatever your project, join us on Zoom every Thursday in February and we will get you motivated to finish it.

All ReBelle knit alongs are free and open to the public. You are welcome to attend as many or as few of the KAL sessions as you like. Every session you attend this month will get you one entry into the Finishing February prize drawing.

Dotty Cowl

This beautiful and interesting cowl uses a reversible double-layer stitch pattern which results in a two-in-one piece for your accessory collection. Constructed by working in the round with two contrasting colors of sock weight yarn, the stitches are worked into two lower rounds at the same time, making it fun and interesting to work up.

This class requires basic crochet skills and we would recommend it for the adventurous beginner to intermediate crocheter. We will be using double crochet and chain stitches, along with the slip stitch, to create several special stitches that give the Dotty Cowl its unique look and texture.

In the class, we will be using two contrasting colors of worsted weight yarn and a US H8/5.0mm hook to demonstrate the technique by creating a smaller sample.
