Learn To Knit with THEA GRAY

Although her students claim she "came out of the womb knitting," Thea Gray began
knitting in third grade, and she has barely stopped since. Known for her considerable patience, Thea loves introducing folks to the joys of knitting.
Come join Thea and learn all the basic skills you need to make your first scarf or hat,
focusing on (but not limited to) casting on, knitting and purling using the English (aka American or throw) method, increasing and decreasing, and casting off. You’ll start your own project in the third class. Class fee includes needles and initial practice yarn.
Prerequisites: None!
Materials: Initial materials provided. Additional materials to be purchased by
student following the second class.
Cost: Five 2-hour sessions; $110 (includes needles and initial practice yarn)
Schedule:Sundays, 10:30-12:30 PM; Aug 23, 30, Sept 13 and 20, Oct 4 (no classes Sept 6, 27)
