TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange started
the week with an increase of 0.19%, taking the All-Share Index to a closing
79,658. Ceramics & Tiles (+3.07%) was the top performing sector of the
day, while Paper Products (-3.02%) fell the most. Chemicals (-0.02%), the biggest
sector of the market, saw the highest daily trade volume with IRR 521 billion
(approx. USD 13.8 million). The top positive movers of the All-Share Index
were Mellat Bank (BMLT +4.76%), Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +1.46%) and
National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI +1.27%). The most traded stock
was Pakshoo Industrial Group (PASH +5.00%) with a volume of IRR 456 billion
(approx. USD 12 million). In total 708 million securities were traded on the
TSE for IRR 2,023 billion (approx. USD 54 million), up 54% from the previous
trading session on Wednesday.

The
TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization advanced
0.39% to close at 3,111. Mellat Bank (BMLT +4.76%) and Tejarat Bank (BTEJ
+3.22%) led gainers among the top 30s, while Iran Khodro (IKCO -1.33%) was
the biggest faller. The total trades of the top 30s slipped 1% to IRR 229
billion (approx. USD 6 million).
