It has been quite some time since I sent you a newsletter (then again, we did promise not to bombard you with spam when you subscribed to email updates :-)) 
 
 
 
 Easify Feature Pack 8   
  
Since our last update we have been busy coding and are almost at a point where we are ready to release our latest free upgrade - Easify Feature Pack 8...
  
Easify Feature Pack 8 is a major upgrade and includes some really powerful new features that you have requested via our forums, live chat system and email. As you probably know we are very open to the feedback of our users and feature packs are always driven by what you want to see in your software.
  
  
At the present time we are carrying out the final testing of Feature Pack 8, which is going well and we anticipate a release date of March 2014. I'm sorry we don't have a specific day for the release yet but this is down to the dynamic nature of software testing. For a massively complex update such as Feature Pack 8 is is quite possible that we might find a problem while testing that could take several weeks to resolve. As soon as we have a firm release date we will announce it on our forums and by email.
  
What's New in Feature Pack 8 (FP8)?
 
Bulk Invoicing
 
Our new Bulk Invoicing system allows you to instantly pull up a list of all your outstanding invoices, and process them all in one go...  
  
 
Simply choose whether you want to email the invoices, print the invoices to a file on your network via the Document Management System (DMS) or print the invoices to a printer. You can even get it to print the envelopes for you too if you don't use windowed envelopes.
 
 
Report Designer
Also for FP8 we have extended the built in product label designer to also handle editing of your public facing paperwork such as quotes, invoices, estimates, purchase orders etc...
 
What this means is that with FP8 you will be able to fully customise your paperwork to look exactly how you want it to look, and to contain exactly the information you want it to contain, and you can create your paperwork in any language that you desire.
 
 
If you want to change your company logo on invoices, simply open up the invoice in the invoice editor and browse to the image that you want to use. You can then drag it and resize it how you want and when you save your changes, the newly edited invoice design will be instantly available to allof your Easify users.
 
The new report designer also lets you create custom paperwork and associate it with various Easify windows so you can create custom print outs and then print them from wherever you want. So for instance, if you want to be able to print customised labels for a job that contain the customer name, order number and order comments, and you want to be able to print them from the order details window, simply create your custom report and associate it with that window.
 
Purchase orders are fully editable too, so if you want to use different columns to those that we have chosen as standard, again, simply open the report designer and add/remove the columns that you desire.
 
I will be putting up a full tutorial video for the report designer prior to release of FP8 so you'll have no problem getting started.
 
We will also be introducing a paid report design service too, so if you don't fancy getting into creating your own reports we will be happy to take this task on for you for a nominal fee per report. 
 
 
Multiple Price Bands
Another much requested feature, for FP8 we will be introducing multiple price bands for products in Easify.
 
 
As you will know, Easify currently supports two price bands - retail and trade. For FP8 we are removing this limitation and allowing you to create as many price bands as you need.
 
All the price bands you create for your products can be easily selected from the POS or back office order details window, simply select a price band and the order will assume the pricing structure you selected.
 
 
Product Sales History
 
Also new for FP8 is the inclusion of easily accessible product sales history from within the Products window and also the Customers Window...
 
 
Again, this was a much requested feature, your wish is our command so we've coded a fully featured product sales reporting system.
 
As you can see in the above screenshot, you simply select a product, and in the Product Sales History tab you choose a date range and when you click the search button (binoculars) you will see a list of all of the customers that purchased that product, how many they purchased and how much they paid for them.
 
You can also instantly see a total of the price columns, and the columns are fully customisable so you can choose exactly which columns you do or don't want to see.
 
The vsales history data can also be exported to CSV file at the click of a button.
 
You can also access this data from the Cusotmers window in Easify, simply select a customer and a date range, and when you click the search button you will see a list of all of the products that they purchased during that time period....
 
 
Bug Fixes and other Updates...
As always, Feature Pack 8 will also include a number of bug fixes and updates.
 
 
 
 
Easify Video Library
And finally, since our last newsletter we've put together a number of Easify Training/Tutorial Videos which are available for you to view via our Video Library.
