Dear Dutch learners,
I’m packing my all my stuff right now for a12-day
project in a castle in Limburg:
a journalist exchange between Germany and Holland. It is the 11th year
that I teach this course (some movies of that course can be found here), and
it is always a lot of fun! Interesting detail is that the teacher on the
German site is a former participant from a couple of years ago. She is
still a journalist, but she liked the course so much that she decided she
wanted to help in this course! This will be her 4th year of
teaching this course…
So what about you? In the time that I’m away, you
can enjoy yourself with new online
games. One
is on my site: a vocabulary game.
Click on one of the words. The category of that word will appear in the
screen, and then try to find the other word of that same category.
The other one is something new I tried for the
owners of an I-pad. Go to the
app-store and download the free
Flashcards+ app. Then, under “adding new decks” you search for “Telling Time in Dutch”. Let me know
if it works and what you think of it. I can make new games if this is
something you like. You can buy the Dutch Sound pack for this app. If you don’t have an I-pad, you can find
the cards here (and the sound will come
for free).
So, before you know it, I’ll be back! Of course
with more lessons for all levels. A special training will be the Exam Training Day
in April. (The CNaVT-exam is in May, but you are welcome to join
us that day to prepare for any other
exam as well). And: don’t forget about the Portrait Drawing
Class (room for 2 more participants)!
