Distinctions Advisory Meeting

The next Distinctions Advisory Workshop will take place at Unit 13 on Monday, 26 June, starting at 19:30. The advice will be given by Pete McCloskey FRPS, Andrew Marker FRPS and Ralph Snook ARPS.

This workshop will be aimed at prints only and is mainly for members thinking of an RPS distinction. However, although the evening will be aimed at RPS distinctions, any advice will clearly be useful if you are thinking of submitting for a PAGB Distinction.

Future workshops will vary in content, including specific advice on PAGB Distinctions and digital submissions.

If you are interested in this workshop, please get in touch making sure that you include all three of the following:

Programme Secretary
There has recently been a change of leadership in the "programme department". After a stint at the helm for several years, Steve Field has stepped back from the role of Programme Secretary and has handed the reins over to Jay Hallsworth.

Thanks should go to Steve for producing such an interesting and varied programme over the last few years, especially as he was thrown the curved ball of covid, meaning that programme plans that had already been put in place had to be ditched when we found ourselves in the uncharted waters of Zoom. At what was obviously pretty short notice, he was able to come up with a fresh programme which kept us going through such rotten times.

Jay has some fairly big shoes to fill, but I'm sure that he will prove to be equally as capable as his predecessor, so I'm sure that we can look forward to an excellent programme in the future.

IMPORTANT: Personal Detail Changes

The distinctions we have on record are those shown at the top of this newsletter, please remember, if you don't tell us we can't possibly know!
