It's midnight Saturday night Denver time and I want to first assure you that Patty and I, and the entire team from Sozo and Flatirons, are perfectly safe.

Our contacts here are very well connected with the police and local security and they had already advised us to cancel any plans to leave the guest house today because of possible unrest related to the Sawar (freedom from Russia) celebrations schedule to occur in Kabul today.

We don't know a lot yet about what went on at the Stadium, but we are safe and I'll write more as soon as I know more.
