Recycling will take place as normal Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Attention is drawn to the usual Christmas packaging in large boxes.

THESE MUST BE BROKEN UP AND PLACED IN YOUR RECYCLING BINS OR THEY WILL NOT BE COLLECTED.

If your material has been left behind, this is the reason, so please be considerate and take it back onto your property to wait for the next collection rather than leave it in an unsightly mess on the roadside during the holiday season.

See guidelines below which are on your 2013 Waste Calendar.  If anyone needs a calendar, please email me cassgye@spin.net.au

If you have a missing or damaged recycling crate please call Pittwater Council on 9970 1111 for delivery of a free replacement.

HAPPY RECYCLING AND MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
RECYCLE RIGHT!

Heads Up - New Thing to Run Into in your tinnies !

As directed by NSW Maritime (or whatever they're called now they've joined the RTA), one of the Water Taxis commercial moorings has been moved from due West of the Water Taxi's Floating Office at Church Point, to due East of same.

So there is now a dirty great big fat orange mooring buoy between the Water Taxi Office and the yellow Special Mark (8 knot buoy), right where lots of commuters, particularly coming from Tennis and Towlers, barrel through on their way to and from the Commuter Wharf.

It's a perky little mooring but don't be fooled - beneath the surface is some of Broken Bay Lighterage's finest work.  Attempts to run over same in anything less than the Queen Mary may not end well.

Yours aye
Pink Water Taxis (conveniently located next to the Point of Impact)

There is nothing like Offshore Ingenuity !
The emergency band-aid
bandaid

Take a paper towel and a champagne cork wire cage and you have a robust solution for a band-aid.

Our first responders have no excuses NOT to carry champagne with them now!

Be very careful, just don't let Lisa near you if you have a broken leg or arm - goodness knows what she will come up with to "temporally" fix it up.
