TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 1.97% at 158,119. Machinery & Electric Equipment (+9.77%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Base Metals (-1.97%). Chemicals (+4.24%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 2,708 billion (approx. USD 64 million). Persian Gulf Petrochemical Ind. Co.(PKLJ +4.8%), Pars Petrochemical Co.(PARS +4.65%) and National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI -3.24%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Pars Petrochemical Co.(PARS +4.65%) was the most traded stock with IRR 818 billion (approx. USD 19 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 17,899 billon (approx. USD 426 million), up 57% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 7,696for a gain of 0.78%. The biggest riser was Jam Petrochemical Co.(PJMZ +5%) while Khouzestan Steel Co.(FKHZ -4.2%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 5,698 billion (approx. USD 135 million). |
