We are looking for a title sponsor to support our biggest ever public art exhibition 'Art of Angel' where we will be transforming Angel Tube station concourse into a public gallery space for the month of January.
This exhibition has been planned to coincide with the prestigious London art fair which draws thousands of visitors through Angel station each year, making this an amazing marketing opportunity for your brand.
We will also be displaying orginal art work at the Candid Arts Trust, a Victorian warehouse with over 6,500 sq ft of exhibition space, located directly behind Angel station. There will be a VIP launch event on the 19th January followed by a 3 day exhibition period co-insiding with the London Art Fair, just a short walk away.
Art Below will provide some refreshing alternatives to the 'art fair experience' including live painting / drawing performances by a diverese range of artists from world famous street artist Inkie, to classicist architect Francis Terry. There will also be video installations provided for by The Open Gallery, as well as live debates and talks hosted by the Crunch Art Festival.
Artists exhibiting their work include 20011 Saatchi New Sensations winner Jonny Briggs, Julie Verhoeven, Johan Andersson, Eleanor Lindsay-Fynn, Philip Levine, and Schoony.
Media Partners supporting 'Art of Angel': Artlyst, Art Rabbit, 1883 Magazine.
For £5,000 I can offer you the following special benefits
- 2 billboard posters (1 meter x 1.5 meter) in Angel Station flanking either side of the concourse featuring your brand as the Title sponsor for the exhibition. This will run for 5 weeks starting 2nd January - covering the London Art Fair period (18 -22nd). Over 50,000 people go through the concourse daily.

Art Belows latest poster open poster competition was in collaboration with Rooms Magazine.
We challenged artists and designers to come up with a poster design that has the appearance of an advertisement. We had an amazing response and made a short list of some of what we considered to be the best. See here
The winning poster design by Dave Robertson is now on display at St.John's Wood Underground station for 2 weeks. Rooms Magazine is also running a feature on the winning artist and their underground poster in the December 2011 issue.

George Saumarez Smith is a classical architect working in the UK. Having been shortlisted for the Young Architect of the Year Award 2011, he took part in an exhibition at the Architecture Foundation in London which opened on 3rd November 2011. This involved making a large drawing in one day, which was filmed by Ben Moore of Art Below and compressed into a 4-minute film. The drawing is a full size detail of a bas-relief frieze by the sculptor Alexander Stoddart, which forms part of a new building designed by George Saumarez Smith for the art dealer Richard Green in New Bond Street, London. 'The purpose of my time spent working in Watts’s Great Studio during 2011 has been to explore the idea of magnitude in painting. Watts painted some of his greatest works in this studio, a space built specifically to work on paintings whose magnitude had outgrown his London studio. Watts wasn’t afraid to tackle paintings whose size and intent were massive. The knowledge that he had carried out such work in this space gave me the idea that working in his shadow, so to speak, would enable me to think on a much bolder scale than before.
The confines of my domestic working environment at home hadn’t prevented me from painting some very big watercolours in the past, but working in Watts’s studio would give me the opportunity to explore a grander intent in a larger space. Magnitude was, for me, the word of the year...' Alexander Creswell
