E. Comp. Don Mallams celebrates 50 years of Royal Arch Freemasonry |
I am delighted to be with you this evening to present a long service award to E Comp Donald Richard Mallams to mark 50 years continuous service to Royal Arch Freemasonry.
Before I say a few words about E Comp Don’s illustrious masonic career, I would just like to comment on how unusual this evening’s presentation is. I am in my sixth year as the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in and over the Province of West Wales and this is the first 50-year certificate I have presented in the Royal Arch. St Padarn Lodge Cheque Presentation to West Wales Festival

At the installation meeting of St Padarn Lodge at the end of October, the W.M., on behalf of the brethren of the Lodge was able to present a cheque of £8,300 towards the Lodge’s Festival target. For more click here.

Narberth Lodge Presentation to Local Foodbank |
The brethren of Narberth Lodge were pleased to be able to present a cheque in support of a local foodbank. The worshipful master and brethren of the Lodge invited a representative of FoodShare at Pembrokeshire Foodbank to pick up the cheque at the Lodge recently. For a little more click here.

West Wales named as the first MCF Province of the Month since its relaunch
|
The Masonic Charitable Foundation have decided to relaunch the Province of the Month scheme to highlight the great work being done by Provinces across the country and give them the spotlight!
This month West Wales Mason takes the limelight as Province of the Month, thanks to their Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, raising over £9,000 and still rising (see story below), for the West Wales 2026 Festival. For more on this story click here.

Twenty one visitors battled it out at St Padarn Lodge in Aberystwyth to claim the West Wales travelling gavel, it came down to two well-travelled lodges. Prince of Wales Lodge from Llanelli & Frenni Lodge from Cardigan, even though they didn't travel as far on this occasion Frenni lodge narrowly won with more members visiting.

Unity Lodge Presentation to West Wales Festival

Brother Nigel Morton of Unity Lodge, Llanelli, took part in the Provincial Three Peaks Challenge during the summer along with a number of likeminded intrepid fellow Freemasons, when they scaled the peaks of Eryri, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan, all within 24 hours. For the complete story click here.
