We wrap up a month of election coverage with several articles about Hurricane Sandy (aka "Frankenstorm") and the final responses of the AJC candidate survey. Please continue to visit our website, Facebook page and Twitter feed for the latest news, look for local happenings on our Community Calendar, and please do not forget to vote next Tuesday.

If you still need a Pennsylvania absentee ballot, the deadline has been extended up to two days depending on how many days your county offices was required to close because of Hurricane Sandy. That will give registered voters in Philadelphia until tomorrow (Thursday) at 5pm to show up in person at county election offices, fill out an absentee ballot request, mark the ballot, and vote on the spot. The new deadline is today for government offices closed only one day by Hurricane Sandy.
