In The Spotlight:
 When Great Adventure opened in 1974, the Safari was as popular as the theme park. For the 1976 season a unique promotion was introduced called the Great Safari Club.
Great Safari Club offered guests a package with a poster, badge, helmet and more, plus newsletters about the Safari's animals and keepers throughout the year.

In The Spotlight:
 One of the short lived attractions that the park offered was Adventure Golf. This miniature golf course was located in the wooded area next to the Yum Yum Palace and had holes featuring rides and other attractions found in the park.
