C’est sur le "side trail" de la section 13 du LMT que nous nous aventurerons ce Dimanche pour "découvrir Wadi el Salib"

En partant de Mazraat Kfardebian nous decendrons dans la vallée accompagnés des senteurs du printemps.

plusieurs temoins de notre riche patrimoine seront au rendez-vous:

Moulins, Magnanerie (manufacture de soie), puit, four à chaux, pressoir à huile et finalement un pont ottoman encore bien conservé.

Après une pause, nous visiterons trois maisons restaurées et transformées en maisons d'hotes.

Cette rando fait partie d'une série d'évements organisés par Lebanese Adventure en partenariat avec la Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA).

Dear friends,

It is on the side trail of section 13 of the LMT that we will venture this Sunday to "discover Wadi el Salib"

Starting from Mazraat Kfardebian we will descend into the valley gray by the scents of spring.

Several witnesses of our rich heritage will be at the rendezvous:

Water mill, old silk factory, well, Lime kiln, oil press and finally an Ottoman well preserved bridge .

After a break, we will visit three houses restored and transformed into guest houses.

This hike is part of a series of events organized by Lebanese Adventure in partnership with the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA).

Practical details:

Difficulty : medium (Downhill)
Length of trail : 8 km

Duration: 3h

What to bring:

Hiking shoes, back pack,water, sunglasses, sun screen, cap, fleece, wind breaker and picnic.

Cost: 33$ (50.000LL) covering guides, transportation and insurance. (Kindly bring the exact change).

Meeting: at 7:30 am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, turn right towards Pain d'Or. The Parking is the 1st one on you left. Please, be on time!
