Arbor Day Celebration Today

Huntsville will celebrate Arbor Day Tuesday, April 22, with an Arbor Day Celebration to be held in front of Valley Elementary School at 10:00 AM.  The 3rd grade will present a program with poems and songs related to trees.  You are welcome to join Mayor Jim McKay, Principal Tommy Lee and the 3rd grade students and teachers in Huntsville's Arbor Day Celebration.

Huntsville has been named a Tree City USA community by the Arbor Day Foundation to honor its commitment to community forestry.  It is the third year Huntsville has received this national recognition.  Thanks to the efforts of Huntsville's Tree Committee and the Valley Elementary 3rd grade students and teachers for this recognition.
