You may find these articles published in Lori’s Dayton Daily News column helpful if you have plans to get more organized.
On its way out...
Keep a donate bin on every floor of your home and let everyone in your family know its location. Now when you make a decision to let something go, you immediately have a bin to put it in instead of putting it back in your closet or let it lay around the house. Once the bins are full put them on the front seat of your car or make arrangements for pick-up so you continually free up space in your home while helping those in need.
Get more done at work...
Are interruptions keeping you from getting your work done? Set up an inbox and outbox in your office and train others where to put the papers they have for you and where to retrieve those you have for them. Many times you’re handling the same type of paperwork, say a signature is required, which can be done without interrupting one another by using the inbox/outbox system.
