The Provincial Grand Master & Grand Superintendent
sends greetings to all Brethren & Companions in West Wales.
|
Keeping the custom of recent years, RW Bro Steve and Angela are not
sending Christmas cards to brethren and friends who they meet in the
four weeks before Christmas Day and to whom they wish a “Happy
Christmas” personally. In doing this they anticipate saving in the
region of £50 which will be donated to Angela’s favourite charity,
Greenacres Animal Rescue. |
“Even the longest journey must begin where you stand” – Lao-tsu (604 BC – 531 BC) |
“The Richard Warburton Lodge exists primarily for the purposes of Masonic Research and Masonic Education both within the Lodge and throughout the Province of West Wales. The members of the Lodge provide bespoke seminars, lectures and demonstrations to groups of Masons or lodges throughout the Province.” |
The Richard Warburton Lodge continues to go from strength to strength. The Lodge has already attracted several new members who are interested in getting involved in either the new Display, Seminar or Research Teams and it is envisaged that these new teams will prove to be a valuable resource to the Province in the coming years. W Bro Chris Harding ( seminars@wwmason.com) will be coordinating the production and delivery of Seminars, while W Bro Andrew Davies ( displays@wwmason.com) will head up the display team. If you are interested in joining the Richard Warburton Lodge and getting involved, you can either contact the Team Leader to find out a bit more, or the Richard Warburton Lodge Secretary, W Bro James Ross by emailing him at asec@wwmason.com. Membership of Richard Warburton Lodge is open to all Masons who wish to partake in any of the lodge activities. Membership of the lodge is a new, exciting and fun way to get involved in Freemasonry in the Province of West Wales. |
W Bro Dirk den-Hartog (left) receives a cheque for £500 from W Bro Dilwyn Littlejohns of St Teilo Lodge for Prostate Cancer Charities. |
West Wales Masons have been busy growing facial hair both to to raise money and awareness about men's health issues. Coordinated by W Bro Dirk den-Hartog, the Provincial Junior Grand Warden the month long series of events has been a great success and has raised a substantial amount of money for charity. Any money raised should be sent to W Bro Dirk den-Hartog at 24 Parc Hafan, Newcastle Emlyn, SA38 9AR, so that it can be added to the final total raised by the Province. |
The Tenby Micro-Climate has continued to cause controversy in the Province of West Wales. W Bro Ryland James discovered that rain had been forecast recently - absurd!!
