5/24/17

I thought graduation went well. After all the stress, the weather cleared! Graduation was smooth and the kids had their day in the sun. There is no better moment as principal than to be at end of the diploma line. The conversations are quick between me and the graduates but they last forever in my heart. The Class of 2017 had some irreplaceably big personalities. The building seems much emptier!

Thank you to all of the Senior Escape Parents that volunteered their time and money to make it a fantastic experience for the kids. I’ve heard great things about the event. In a case like this, you do all that work and it can seem like nobody really takes notice. I notice and I appreciate it! Even if the kids don't say it, they do appreciate it.

We have the 8th graders coming over tomorrow for their annual tour.

MITES Results are attached. Ben DeWeerd won the Grand Divisional Award for best project by a sophomore in the State of Michigan. That is the fifth time Mr. Tank has had a Divisional Award in his class. All the kids did amazingly well at the competition. The projects are just beautiful.
