AND THE LEGACY OF JACKIE ROBINSON

Come for a baseball double-header with San Francisco State
University history professor Jules Tygiel. Professor Tygiel, who
has been called "the preeminent historian of baseball," is the author of
Baseball's Great Experiment: Jackie Robinson and His Legacy
and Past Time: Baseball as History. The event celebrates
both the opening of the 2007 baseball season and the 60th anniversary of
Jackie Robinson's historic entry into the major leagues. A great event
for
baseball fans of all ages.
