Mark Armitage, Director of Exhibition Services-EMEA, will be retiring with effect from 30th June 2012
We, the REINIGUNGS MARKT team, wish all the best for Mark and his family for his well-deserved retirement and are pleased to welcome him at our booth in hall 1, stand 134 at the ISSA/Interclean!
We met personally at the Pulire in Verona for the first time. Since then, there is a close friendship which has grown over the years. In 2002 we signed a cooperation contract. Since 10 years REINIGUNGS MARKT is the official authority of the ISSA in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Since then, the number of members has been growing from 28 up to 115 in this region and REINIGUNGS MARKT is published 10 times a year with a print run of 12,200 copies (previously: 6 times a year and print run of 9,000 copies). The amount of sold copies is over 2,000 now. The ISSA/Interclean is now the most successful and most international trade fair in the cleaning industry. This is especially a personal achievement of Mark! We say, “Thank you, Mark!“
Mark has given service to ISSA since 1998 when he joined the Organisation from the US Department of Commerce based in The Netherlands and where he was responsible for assisting US Companies to become established in the European market place.
Since joining ISSA, Mark opened its first office in Europe and has helped to develop membership, alliances with other associations and supported US Exhibitors at Trade Shows around Europe and, notably, ISSA/Interclean Shows in Amsterdam and Warsaw.
The upcoming ISSA/Interclean Show in Amsterdam will be Mark’s “swansong” and an opportunity for him to say his farewells to colleagues and friends he has made over the past 14 years.
We say, “Congratulations and thanks” to Mark for his service to ISSA and wish him a long and happy retirement.
