Good Morning Southeastern CT! Good Morning World! Introducing your show host Ann Buonocore with Everyday People Show Features including: "A Slice of Americana"and "Happy Cass."
  • Opah! Buckle your seat belt.  Off we go to Greece with Paula Dart, General Chairperson of the 2011 St. Sophia Hellenic Orthodox Church Food Festival. Paula gives us the specifics of this event, which starts Tuesday, November 8 and runs through Friday, November 11. BUT...in addition, Paula talks about the food! Do you knw how to properly pronounce what most people know as a "gyro" sandwich? Ever wonder what the ingredients of Moussaka are or how to make your own Dolmades (Stuffed grape leaves)? Tune-in to hear Paula share her own Dolmades recipe, which of course she claims is the best!

The food festival is at the St. Sophia Hellenic Center, 200 Hempstead Street, New London, CT. Hours are Monday thru Friday 11am to 9pm.  The Hellenic Dancers will perform on Wednesday and Thursday starting at 6:30pm. Loukoumades will be served! Um mm good! Don't know what they? Show up or call (860) 442-2377 for more information.

  • Mark Ashton Lund went from figure skating and national commentating to the publishing business to film making. How did he do that? He tells show host Ann Buonocore and all of her listeners this Sunday morning.  Mark also talks about the production of his movie trailer and the motivation of his latest work: "Justice Is Mind,"a syfy movie that Mark wrote and is producing. Talent? Did somebody say Talent? Mark Ashton Lund certainly has that along with over-flowing energy that he readily shares. Meet Mark on Everyday People this Sunday!
