Jeremiah 23:24 Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?" declares the LORD. "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" declares the LORD.

CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM HIM?

"Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him? ... Do not I fill heaven and earth?" declares the LORD. God is present everywhere. On the one hand, this fact is a warning. There is no place God does not see us. Those who pretend that they can hide their actions from God under cover of darkness are mistaken, and those who act as though God lives in their hometown and is not present where they are strangers are also mistaken.

But while the omnipresence of God is a warning to those who wish to escape His influence, this fact is a comfort to those who seek refuge in Him. Jesus assured His believing disciples, "Lo, I will be with you alway, even to the end of the world."

From the ends of the earth to the end of time, from the deepest dungeon to the highest mountain, God is there. No place, no space can separate us from His loving protection. When through faith in Jesus God places around us the robe of Christ's own righteousness, He also drapes over our shoulders the promise of His presence.
