ISSA Europe: Membership Milestone
ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, has announced that interest in the association from Europe continues to grow particularly strongly with membership in the region passing the 1100 mark during the first week of August 2011.
The 1100th member to be signed up by the ISSA Europe team was Steiner System of Switzerland. They join other European members who are drawn from manufacturers, distributors, building service contractors, facilities managers and end uses alike and geographically spread from Iceland to Turkey. Other organisations who have recently taken up membership include JANGRO the distributor group in the UK and RCCA the Cleaning Industry Association of Russia.
ISSA Director of European Services Keith Baker commented: “The surge in membership across Europe is a strong indication of increased awareness and appreciation of the expanding range of initiatives that we provide tailored to the needs of the region. What is really interesting is how European organisations see ISSA membership as their best route to improving performance in their own core markets and expanding into new sectors and geographies.”
