NEWS DIARY NOTICE: Thursday 30, October
What: Launch of new website to support transparency in the charity sector. The Good Charity website will answer many common questions about charities, and will help members of the public to evaluate charities before they donate.
The website was developed by volunteers from Dóchas, Fundraising Ireland, The Wheel, Total Fundraising and Whitebarn Consulting.
The launch event will include updates on:
- The commencement of the Charities Regulator and the implementation of the Charities Act 2009
- The Governance Code for Community and Voluntary Orgnaisations
- Dóchas Code of Corporate Governance for NGOs
- The Fundraising Codes
When: Thursday, 30 October from 1pm-2pm
