May 22 is International Biological Diversity Day worldwide; May 20 is Endangered Species Day in the U.S.
On these days there will be many events highlighting the beauty and value of biological diversity and the need to conserve imperiled species.
Attached are some Native Plant Conservation Campaign materials that we hope you will print and share during Endangered Species Day and other native plant events this spring!
- *NEW* Ecosystem Services Infographic - pictorially details the enormous value and diversity of the Ecosystem Services we depend upon to support life. Brand new for Spring 2016!
- Medicinal Plant Fact Sheet - provides examples of the many life-saving products derived from wild species.
- Native Plant Conservation Campaign Brochure - Wild Plants, Wild Places: an overview of the challenges facing native plants and the NPCC's approach to overcoming them.
We work hard to ensure that NPCC outreach materials are effective, accurate, and up to date.
Please send us any comments or questions on these fliers.
We hope you find them useful!
