Dear classic car enthusiast, The last three weeks a lot of new arrived classic and sports cars have been tested and photographed for sale. In this newsletter we present you 17 new arrivals and a photo reportage of a 1963 Facel Vega Facel II. This fabulous Facel burned out completely in the past; the automobile was fully restored to top condition by Amicale Facel Holland! Today our list starts with very special 'modern classics'. A very exclusive and and impressive 2004 Bristol Fighter and a scarce 2005 MG XPower SV-R! Both sports cars are fitted with 'American Muscle', the Fighter with a 525 bhp. Chrysler V10 and the SV-R with a 385 bhp. Ford V8. Further more you can enjoy a few tremendous Jaguar E-types, amongst which a unique, fully original, 1966 4.2 Litre FHC, a few beautiful Austin Healey's, MG's and Triumph TR's, a fantastic Porsche 911 2.4 T Targa and a rugged Rover P5B rally car. From Thursday May 6 until Saturday May 8 the Mille Miglia wil be driven from Brescia to Rome and back to Brescia in Italy. *Bristol Fighter, 2004*
Bristol Fighter, year 2004. Chassis number: BRISFIT300201. (This automobile is one of the Fighter prototypes which was used for testing and promotional activities.) Colour dark blue metallic with a cognac leather interior and matching carpet. This very impressive Bristol Fighter was bought from the factory in the year 2008 by the current owner. Then the car had driven 9000 miles. The automobile was strictly serviced and maintained by the factory (Bristol Service Center London.) The car is in top condition! MG XPower SV-R, year 2005. Chassis number 622. Colour Midnight Blue with a blue/dark grey leather/alcantara interior. This tremendous and MG XPower SV-R is in BRAND NEW condition! The car has only driven 399 kilometers! The MG XPower SV-R is a very scarce automobile, in total 56 were built of which 23 Left Hand Drive models like this one. The driving experience in this sports car is fantastic, the torque and the acceleration are very impressive. Austin Healey 100/4 BN-1, year 1954. Colour red with a black leather interior trimmed with red piping. This is the earliest BN-1 model with 3-speed gearbox and overdrive on the two top gears. MG MGA 1600 Mk II 'de luxe' roadster, year 1962. Colour red with a black leather interior. Black soft top and side screens. This beautiful MGA roadster was fully and body off restored by Altena Classic Service, this on application of a collector. Since the restoration the car has driven only 2000 miles. This MGA roadster is in superb (excellent++), near concours condition! This MGA 1600 Mk II is a scarce specimen. It is the last MGA model ever built. The 'de luxe' model is fitted with disc brakes all round and Dunlop disc wheels like the 'Twin Cam' model. Only 24 left hand drive 'de luxe' models have been built. Watch *video. MG MGB GT V8, year 1974 (first registration 1975). Colour damask red with a black fabric/leatherette interior. Right Hand Drive. This original chrome bumper MGB GT V8 was extensively restored by a specialist in Great Britain. The automobile is in superb (excellent++) condition, near concours. A photo reportage is present as is a description of the restoration. Also all restoration invoices are present, totaling an amount of more than 20.000 GBP (over 30.000 Euro a few years ago as the car was restored.) Rover P5B 3500 V8 rally car, year 1968. Colour white with a black rally interior. This car was specially build for the 1993 London to Sydney trail. Preparation and service were carried out by Verbaas Preparations in The Netherlands from 1993 until 2010. The car is a Rover P5B Mark 3 from the year 1968, fitted with a Rover 3.5 liter V8 engine and 5-speed manual gearbox. This Rover participated in several demanding international historic rally events. The car proved to be VERY reliable and suitable for the purpose. The last five years the car was not used. The Rover was taken apart and built up again. This Rover is ready for every challenge! Porsche 911 2.4 T Targa, year 1973. Colour yellow (Porsche colour code 117) with a beige/brown interior. This fantastic 911 Targa was sold new in the USA. The automobile was imported to the Netherlands early 2009. Then the car (which was in very good condition) was extensively restored. A photo reportage and invoices of the restoration are present. The car was restored using only original Porsche parts and as much as possible original parts were restored/overhauled in the process. *Restoration Facel Vega Facel II, 1963*
This beautiful Facel Vega Facel II burned out severely in the past. The automobile arrived in the workshop in very bad shape as you can see in the photo reportage. This Facel II was restored to top condition by Amicale Facel Holland. Many parts (especially of the interior) had to be hand crafted. This 1963 Facel II is a top of the line model featuring the 6.7 Litre V8 engine fitted with two 'four barrel' Carter carburettors.
