August 2018
Reduced stress. Increased productivity. Improved well-being.
Forte Organizers helps individuals and families stay organized at home, as well as teaching business people organization skills at work.
In The News...
Lori is taking a break from writing her Dayton Daily News articles, so we thought you would enjoy reading two of our favorites from previous years:
Balancing Act...
Do you work from home, but also have to take care of the family and run the household?  Is it difficult balancing each one?
Get a timer and set it for an hour (or whatever time frame you designate) then only focus on work tasks during that time.  When the timer goes off, switch over and focus on home duties for the same length of time, but don't forget to set your timer.
Going back and forth throughout the day might be just what you need to get all of your work done for the office and at home without feeling like you are neglecting one for the other.
On The Road Again...
We are all trying to get in those last minute road trips before the kids go back to school later in the month.  Does the back seat of your car become a cluttered mess the instant you hit the highway?
Hang a shoe organizer designed for a closet door over the back of the front seats. That way the the kids have a place to store their games, toys, snacks, electronics, coloring books, etc.
Just imagine how tidy your back seat will be!
Organizing Classes...
There aren't any public organizing classes scheduled during the summer.  Take this chance to enjoy some time with your family!  Lori will begin teaching her seminars again in September.
Community Events...
Do you or your loved ones have Miliary uniforms or memorbilia that you would love go to a good home?
The Miami Valley Military History Museum might just be the answer you are looking for. They want to bring to life the stories of our veterans, and your donations will ensure their continued growth.
They accept:
  • Uniforms
  • Insignias
  • Medals
  • Photographs
  • Captured enemy trophies
  • Anything that will help tell our veteran's stories, especially those from Ohio.
Go to their Donations Page for more information.
Lose Your Stuff, Find Yourself...
Enjoy this excerpt from Lori's book:
"I know first-hand how hard it is to let go of things.  I'm not asking you to part with any of those items if you truly enjoy them.  Let go of 'someday' items so you can enjoy living in the present moment."

One More Thing...
"When we appreciate how much we have, we feel the urge to pare down, get back to the basics, and learn what is essential for our happiness.  We long to realize what's really important."   ~Sarah Ban Breathnach
Enjoy the rest of your summer,
