According to Consumer Magazine Which, a survey of 4000 visitors over the past year ranked British Seaside Resorts for quality, local attractions, scenery, peace and quiet and value for money and of course we were delighted to see several of our favourites in the top ten. The results of the survey definitely prioritise smaller and lesser known spots – as do we - and we are only taking the risk of sharing these gems because we know our discerning clients will appreciate them!
Topping the list was Bamburgh, Northumberland and while we don’t have a trip that goes there yet – watch this space! It was in the planning stages pre-pandemic and just needs to pass the Carter test before we launch.
Three of the best seaside towns were in Wales, two in Suffolk, naturally Devon featured a couple of times and of course Swanage – a perennial favourite on any list.
So imagine the sound of lapping waves, feel the sand between your toes and take a look at these!
