FREE CONCERT IN THE PARK! - On Tuesday, August 31, we will play a free, outside, all ages concert at Green Tree Park, 18 Grubb Road, Malvern, PA. This will be the 6-piece electric band featuring Brett Andrew on guitar, Tim Hooper on keys, and Johnny Machete on sax. Showtime is 5:00 to 8:00. In case of rain, the date will be moved to Thursday, September 2. Special thanks to Mary Hundt.
DORRIE GREGOR MEMORIAL - On Sunday afternoon, September 5, we will be playing a free, outside, all ages show the Root Down Biergarten, 425 Bridge St., Phoenixville, PA, This will be the 5-piece band featuring Kathleen Weber on vocals and percussion. We will be remembering longtime Manatees friend and fan Dorrie Gregor who passed away last year. Showtime is 3:00 to 6:00. In case of rain, the show will be moved into the Root Down Brewery, 1 N. 3RD ANNUAL MIGHTY MANATEES BEATLE TRIBUTE! - Yeah, Yeah, Yeah! Outside on Sunday afternoon, September 12, we will be hosting the 3rd Annual Mighty Manatees Tribute To The Beatles. We will return to the mighty Country Creek Winery in Telford, PA, with a fab collection of musical guests including Ray Adkins, David Cohen, Anne-Marie Ford, Mike Greer, Bob Tomlinson, and Eric Worthington. HABITAT FOR HUMANATEE PICNIC CONCERT! - Outside on Sunday afternoon, September 26, The Mighty Manatees will be playing at a picnic to celebrate Habitat For Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties breaking ground on FOUR new homes in Hatfield, PA! The picnic starts at noon. This is a free, outdoor, all ages event. There will be site tours, a bounce house, face painting, Touch A Fire Truck, pumpkin painting, food trucks, games, and much more! 2714 Cowpath Road, Hatfield, PA. KARL "K-JO" FRICK UPDATE - Mighty Manatees bassist/keyboardist/singer/recording engineer Karl "K-Jo" Frick wants you all to know that he is recovering steadily from his recent vascular surgery (59 staples in his right leg!). He is able to walk and climb stairs now. Karl would like to thank all you friends and Fanatees for your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. In the meantime while waiting to return to active duty, Karl & Marlena just purchased a new home in beautiful Hamburg, PA. They took possession on August 13. Congrats to Karl & Marlena! We hope you're feelin' better!
