On the 4th April Art Below unveiled Nasser Azam's 'Antarctica' on a 16 meter wide poster dsiplay on the Ginza line platform in Tokyo's most busy and central station - Shibuya.
From next monday morning images of Azam's 'Antarctica' will dominate the poster space on the Westbound central line platform at Liverpool Street for 2 weeks. On the same platform Art Below who this April celebrate their 5th Anniversary, will be using 3 meter wide digital projection screens to feature a short film (played on loop) made in collaboration with British film director Ed Blum.
London's commuters will be able to view scenes of Nasser Azam in temperatures of minus 40 degrees, buffeted by gales, painting in different settings: on glaciers, by frozen lakes, and in ice caves.
Art Below have also devised an international video link enabling London's travellers to view the Tokyo platform the poster display and all the public activity going on around it.
