Dear friends and neighbors
Tough to compete with the Superbowl tonight, but hoping this catches your attention.  Just a quick reminder about the Rebuild By Design meetings this week:
The City of Hoboken’s anti-flooding project has reached a pivotal stage with potential designs being unveiled for Harborside Park. This is the part that everyone has waited for - what is it going to look like once built!
Whether you live in the area or live as far away as SW Hoboken, this park is important as it will be a critical part of the northern gateway into Hoboken.  If you are a close neighbor or an Elysian Charter parent, you want to come to make sure that the facilities and amenities you most want are being captured in the plans.  These meetings are specifically for public input.  What will be presented reflects input already received todate.
I will definitely be at the Monday meeting.  I have a competing subcommittee meeting for the Northwest Park on Thursday (another exciting project that is moving forward!). The two meetings will be the same in terms of format and content.  If you have not been to a meeting before - no worries.  This is the perfect time to come.  Hope to see as many of you as possible come out and make your voice heard!  #MoreVoicesAreBetter

  • Hoboken Planning Board 2/5 7:00 pmI include this because the planning board is hearing the application for the new Hilton Hotel.  In particular we will be discussing traffic implications that night.

As always please forward this to anyone you think may be interested and feel free to reach out via email, text or phone (201-208-1674) about this or anything else important to you.
Hope everyone is thawing out and enjoying the game!  Although I am a temporary Rams fan today...once a Bills fan, always a Bills fan and I remain optimistic for next year!
