Tomorrow will be a half-day as we complete exams.

We have finalized our plans to host a Holocaust Survivor towards the end of January. Parents will receive a note (sent home with your student in a couple of weeks) which will provide details on the speaker. I am so excited to bring this opportunity to the kids. I've invited the area high schools to send a group of students because the opportunity is so rare.

We survived our first "Family Lunch" of the year. That's what we call it when the entire school eats in one lunch period. The lunch folks got the entire school through the lines in less than 14 minutes. Waiting in line was less than 5 minutes from my casual observation. Pretty amazing.

Rarely do I talk about sports in these notes but the Girls Varsity basketball game on Tuesday night was great. They showed tremendous tenacity and grit to battle from behind and win in overtime. Chloe Shriver had some clutch overtime shots and Avery Curnett shut their best player down.

Wrestling had their first home meet yesterday and swept the field. Midway through the first match, they had a perfect score (win by pin). Great showing by them as well.
