I hope this finds you well and happy.
This is my first Art Newsletter of 2014 which I hope you enjoy. Do please contact me if you have any queries about my work, or would like to arrange a studio visit.

 
I love this time of year when we can see nature waking up after the winter's sleep.
I find that as an artist, my creativity seems to wake up too!
So here are details of some of my Spring Events, including:
  • ART ON THE HILL in BRILL - I'm off to Buckinghamshire

  • MEDITATION CLASSES - ongoing in Brockley & Dulwich

ART ON THE HILL
 22nd & 23rd March 2014
 
After meeting a lovely family who live on a hill in Brill, near a windmill,  I was invited to take part in an exciting fund-raising event at their local school. I will be exhibiting a few of my embossed works along- side about 80 other artists! As well as the art exhibition there are several creative workshops to try.  

If you know anyone in that area do suggest they come & join the fun.

Something exciting
on Telegraph Hill

There will be 29 other Open Studios all over Telegraph Hill, some with as many as four artists, so there's lots to see.
 
Remember, now Brockley is on the Overground it's really easy to get to.

Telegraph Hill Festival 2014
OPEN STUDIOS
Saturday 5th April 2-6pm
Sunday 6th April 11-6pm
Monday 7th April 6-9pm
 
I will be opening my studio doors once again as part of the Telegraph Hill Festival This is the 20th year of this amazing community event.
 
On display will be a wide selection of my textural artworks including; works on canvas, embossed collages and recycled glass pieces. There will also be a "Bargain Corner" and a space for kids of all ages to "Make a Picture".
 
This year Christine Moores will also be showing her paintings and drawings at my studio.

Meditation Classes in Brockley and Dulwich
 
I lead weekly meditation classes on Wednesday mornings at the Sunflower Centre and evenings at the Goose Green Clinic.
 
All regular participants really enjoy this hour of self nurture.

 I will again be taking a stand on the
GRAND DESIGN ARCADE at Grand Designs Live London. Last year I enjoyed meeting many people who were involved in creating their own Grand Designs. I hope to see many of them again and hear how things are progressing. I will be focusing on my white and gold collection and my recycled glassworks.

Hopefully I will be showing a small selection of my unframed works here on the first Sunday in April and again in May. On both occasions I will be elsewhere, so I will be asking a special artist friend to mind my browser for me.
 
It's a shame I can't be in two places at once and I will miss all the lovely West Norwoodians (and the very delicious food!!) but I'll be back there early in June with my full display of works.

I always have work in both the Galleries; Oxo Tower & Gabriel's Wharf, alongside the other lovely Skylark Artists. The galleries are near the river and the nearest stations are Waterloo & Blackfriars. Do pop in and say hello whenever you're passing. . .
 
And on the LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH we hold LATE OPENINGS with artist's talks
